Event Alert: Easkoot at L’Appart Resto Thursday Nov.17th

We’ve always considered our Pinot Noir to be of the “Old World” style, so we feel like we’ll fit right in at what looks to be a great night at  L’Appart Resto, a lovely French restaurant in downtown San Anselmo, this Thursday (Nov.17th) from 5:30-9:00.
It is officially a Beaujolais Nouveau* party, but along with those wines there will also be Champagne flowing as well as about a dozen other French wines and a few selected domestic wines (like ours) that can stroll with those hand in hand.
But what’s a party without fantastic food? They’ll be serving up cheese, charcuterie, salads, beef bourguignon and raclette all night. So this is really a wine tasting dinner, not just a wine tasting with snacks, but done in a relaxed way (think cozy atmosphere, community tables and great live music.)
Bonus? You can get some holiday shopping done! Every wine in the tasting will be offered for sale. Who doesn’t like having plenty of wine around this time of year?
Get your tickets in advance here or just come on by and join the fun. See you there!
*Beaujolais nouveau is a red wine made from Gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France. This wine region has long crafted a vin de l’année, fermented for just a few short weeks before being released for sale on the third Thursday of November, to signify the end of the harvest.
